Welcome
The goal here is simple: recreate the energy of a real basketball court.
In this league, you play with people… but mostly against people you hear talking the whole game.
- →Trash talk.
- →Communication.
- →Rivalries.
- →Real court energy.
Everyone can hear:
- → their teammates
- → their opponents
- → live reactions
- → clutch moments
- → debates during the game
But here, we keep it basketball. You can talk about the game, challenge someone, call out a play — respect is still required. We trash talk the game, not the person.

What Discord is for
The server exists to make 5v5s easier to organize.
- → You set your Ready to play times
- → Everyone sees who's around
- → Games get created
- → Players join lobbies
- → Stats, screenshots, and highlights get saved
The goal is that even busy players can just: see active hours, jump in when it's running, hop in chat — compete.
Twitch & content
Most games will be streamed on Twitch. Highlights, clips, and stats feed Discord, the website, seasons, teams, rivalries, and drafts.

Court rules
The goal: real court energy — communication, competition, trash talk, rivalries — always with respect.
What's allowed
- ✓ talking about the game
- ✓ challenging a player
- ✓ calling out a bad play
- ✓ basketball trash talk
- ✓ being intense
The goal is for it to feel like a real court.
What's not allowed
- ✕ personal insults, racism, hate
- ✕ intimidation, excessive toxicity, harassment
- ✕ intentionally ruining games
Trash talk the player on the court — not the person behind the mic.
Mic & communication
When you join a game:
- → join the requested voice channel
- → keep communication solid
- → avoid unnecessary noise
- → respect other players
Showing up for games
If you confirm you're in:
- → be there, be on time
- → let people know if you're leaving
Discord is built to organize runs — respect everyone's time.
Twitch / clips / highlights
Most games may be streamed or clipped. By joining games, you accept that highlights may be used across the league, Discord, or the website.
Basketball first
We're here to play, compete, build a community, and have fun. Respect the game, the court, and the people. Now hoop.
5v5 availability
This is where runs start.
Want to play? Set your Ready to play times. The system shows how many players are available, when Open Gyms can tip off, and when official Series can be played.
The more players post availability, the easier it is to get games going (6, 8, 10 players… and then it's on). Even if you can only play certain days, post anyway — it helps everyone.
Open Gym
Unofficial matches, showcases, community runs, Open Gym stats.
Mini Series
Official stats, season play, rivalries, standings.
The more active this channel is, the more alive the league feels.
Game alert
Yo — a 5v5 is forming.
- → Open Gym coming together
- → official Series possible
- → a few players still needed
- → lineup in the works
Stay ready.
5v5 confirmed
The game is set. The court is full. Check ball — join the lobby.
- → Mic ready
- → Energy up
- → Be on time
If your name is on the list, we're waiting on you. No ghosting.
How to play
5v5 Reborn is a competitive basketball league: live communication, on-court trash talk, rivalries, team strategy, Twitch games, stats, and seasons — built to recreate real court energy with real structure.
1. Set your Ready to play times
Go to
#disponibilites-5v5and post when you can play. The system shows how many players are available, when 5v5s can tip off, and when an official Series can run.The more players post availability, the easier runs are to organize.
2. Teams
Each team can have up to 6 players and 1 captain. Teams are built during drafts; captains select players for the season roster.
3. Official matches
A match becomes official when each team has at least 4 drafted players. Official matches are played as a best-of-3.
Official results feed stats, standings, highlights, and season progression.
4. Open Gym (unofficial)
When a team has fewer than 4 drafted players, the match becomes an "Open Gym": showcase games, evaluate undrafted players, create content, keep playing without a full roster. Stats can still be recorded.
5. Screenshots & stats
After every official match, a final scoreboard screenshot is required. Stats and results are recorded for Discord, the site, seasons, clips, and highlights.
6. Voice & trash talk
Voice is part of the league: join the lobby, your locker room, communicate with your team. On-court trash talk is allowed, always with respect — we talk about the game, not hate or personal attacks.
7. Player commitment
When a player is drafted, they must play at least 6 official Series with their team. Players can't be removed on impulse — there's a review process before roster removal.
8. Undrafted
Undrafted players can play Open Gym, fill in certain spots, sign temporary contracts, or become a captain. An undrafted player can create their own team if they present a full roster and an official team name.
Respect the game, the players, commitments, and competitive spirit — build a real basketball community. Now lock in.
